- This department is headed by Anesthesiologist Dr. Roop Kshirsagar.
- Anesthesiology is the medical specialty concerned with the total perioperative care of patients before, during and after surgery.
- It encompasses anesthesia, intensive care medicine, critical emergency medicine, and pain medicine.
- Also under DNB anesthesiology program we have continued academic and research activities for students since 2009 onwards.
- Activities of social importance like COLS are regularly conducted.
- Skill lab facility for training with help of mannequin is available.
- Fellowship program for critical care medicine and cardiac anesthesia under MUHS has been implemented since 2021.
