Mammography is the study of the breast using X-Rays. In order to provide each patient with individualized and specialized care, we use only the best breast imaging equipment available.
For patients needing breast biopsy (stereotactic or breast lesion localization), the department utilizes a vacuum assisted breast biopsy system. Fine needle and core biopsies are performed in the Mammography department.
We use METRONIKA one of the Internationally Graded Company’s LILYUM MAMMOGRAPHY MACHINE.
